I have come into an old rifle, marked "Remington Targetmaster Model 41" and
".22 Rem Spec or W. R. F." It is in pretty rough condition but appears shootable.
Anybody with information about this rifle re quality, value, etc?
I'm so sick of seeing this. He's asking for personal experiences. I'm sure 95% of the questions on this forum can be found on Google. This is what forums are for.
You can still find WRF ammo. Winchester did a run recently and CCI has some. I prefer the Winchester because it has a lead bullet and not jacketed. I use them out of a WMR for game. They destroy less meat but aren't as accurate. The Remington Special is the same cartride only with a round nose bullet.
