The serial is 6D43***

With that serial number, it can't be a 10-5 or a 10-6. According to SCSW, a serial number between 6D10001 and 7D10000 indicates 1980, so with the tapered barrel it should be a 10-7, introduced in 1977 and replaced by the 10-9 in 1988 (10-8 was the heavy barrel version of 10-7).
