Old Shotgun Value?

I hope that this is the correct forum to post, if not please forgive me.

My father is trying to determine the value of some shotguns that he owns. Neither of us have a used firearm gun guide so I was hoping that someone here who might have the book or an idea of the worth could help us out.

Assuming the condition of both guns is "GOOD" what would be the value??
1. Remington 1100 20 guage YOUTH shotgun
2. SEARS 20 guage side-by-side

He is looking into selling or trading these off torwards a really nice Beretta, Benelli or Browning.

The 1100 might be worth $300 - $400 in GOOD condition.

The Sears probably in the $200 - $300 range as I think that was an old Savage model.

Correct ... it is a Savage 311. Nice gun, probaly worth, DOC about $250.
