Can anyone give me some information on an old Stevens side by side double barrel shotgun? Barrels are 28 inches long and seem to be made of steel and not twisted. Chokes seem to be full and modified. It has open hammers and two triggers. The side plates seem to be nickel plated. The only markings I can find are on one side plate "J. Stevens A&T Co Chicopee Falls, Mass U.S.A. Pats appl'd for" The only other markings are the number 249 on the under side of the barrels and inside the frame, and 41777 stamped on the wood and metal inside the forestock. Any info as to age, model, value, etc would greatly appreciated. Thanks
