sm,that is very close but the one I'm remembering was from a year or so ago and had a 1911 in it.It also was shown in balck and white, sepia, etc. Thanks for trying however.tom.
I too remember the one you mentioned, after I read about it being in black and white.
I have searched and cannot find it.
PM armordman (I hope I spelled his username correctly, forgive me if I did not), as he has posted some great pics and posters. If not one of his, perhaps he will remember.
Wait, PM Xavier Breath as well. Could it be we saw this on his blog?
sm,while I've visited Xavier's blog site it was a regular forum that I remember seeing the "gangster/Detective" picture. There was a hat involved if I remember correctly and a Zippo and a pack of Lucky Strikes, maybe even a booze glass, but not sure.Thare was however a 1911 for sure in the picture.tom.
GREAT picture. I love that shot.
The one with the Dick Special and Tyler T with typerwriter in the background is pretty great, too. That thread was when I realized that the Tyler T was a separate thing from the grips. Went out and investigated, and bought a bunch of them.
The photo in OP's question is a very well done shot, and makes me want to break out my collection of Mickey Spillane novels.
Remember the cover of Erection Set? Spillane's wife with a Smith model 10 in her hand? Love that picture.
I have every one of his novels. Most, unfortunately, are second or third printing paperbacks, and have illustrations on the cover, that don't even come close to being related to the books. These are the only ones I have with actual photos of guns on them. Many more beautiful women, but not any more guns.
