I saw an advertisement in the Shotgun news for Oly Arms and it showed a pair of semi auto pistols named Whitney. I have never heard about or seen one of these pistols before. Has anyone seen these things?

The original Whitney was a good little .22 in the 1950's and 60's. It was futuristic in design and a good shooter.
Olympic Arms has brought the design back and I've handled them at the SHOT Show, but haven't fired one. A lot of .22 semi-automatic pistols are ammunition sensitive, and I've heard this may be the case with the new Whitney, but I have no first hand experience with the new ones, only the old ones.
