On a lighter note, radio gun programs?

I guess most everyone knows Tom Gresham's Gun Talk Radio (http://www.guntalk.com/site.php) with its 3-hour Sunday syndicated radio show--and years of archived shows available for free download or--even easier--via the Gun Talk iPhone/Android app.

Here in Houston there is also a radio show, "Guns Over Texas", also on Sunday. Less polished...OK waaay less polished, it's as they describe themselves "four guys sitting around talking about guns". They are highly opinionated, and borderline offensive at times. They dislike the XD/XDM guns and really don't like Taurus. They like Smith M&P, Glock, and Colt AR15. However, they also have their shows archived as MP3 files at http://gunsovertexasradio.com/.

I never hear these shows live, since they are on Sunday afternoon, but I do like the archives when I'm driving, and I drive a lot on the job. Gresham's show streams nicely with the iPhone app, and you have around ten years of shows if you want to go back that far.

Question. Are there any other local or syndicated radio gun shows that anyone here can share with the rest of us? Without archives or availability on iHeartRadio, it might just be interesting, but if the rest of us can get access, it would be really nice. For example, those of you in other parts of the country might enjoy hearing four Texas rednecks talk about guns once in a while...or maybe just once. For sure, if you listen you'll hear about shooting feral hogs, which have just about taken over Texas and a lot of the south generally.

Anyone?

They like Smith M&P, Glock, and Colt AR15.

Good grief. I'm bored already.

As far as radio shows, I occasionally will listen to Tom Gresham, but not very often. I converted some of Hickok45's youtube videos to mp3, and I'll listen to them with about the same frequency.

Are these broadcasted over the internet?
Neither Tom Gresham nor Guns Over Texas are Internet radio stations, but both have their broadcasts available after the fact as downloads. As to the limited preferences of the four rednecks on the Guns Over Texas show, I think they probably want to stir up listeners. They're clearly not looking for Springfield Armory, Taurus, or Crimson Trace as sponsors, and supporters of the ADA and breast cancer awareness probably have them on a hit list. I'll listen to them when desperate and sick of regular talk radio...but that's why I'm hoping to hear of more.

I almost never hear either of the programs live. It is the downloads and podcasts that work for me. For example, I did not hear Tom Gresham's show today, but if I open the Gun Talk Radio app on my iPhone, it will be there already. I have to drive to the VA tomorrow, so I'll listen to today's broadcast in the car and while in the waiting room. Then I have business appointments, so Tom Gresham will ride with me all day tomorrow...at least 135 minutes of it. Then I'll listen to the three Texas rednecks.

Thanks for the heads up. I've been listening to the October 7 show via the MP3 link from the Guns Over Texas home page. The first 35 minutes aren't too bad at all.

I'll have to revisit it since I got to hit the bed now.
