99.1 in Reno NV has Guntalk

but no one seems to be home there, I couldn't find any phone numbers to the radio and the local ads play over the national ads making it excreuciating to listen to (during commercials).

Tom, do you mention THR on Guntalk?

I'm not sure if the servers can handle it or if we have enough moderators...we seem to go thru spurts of growth...anyway great show I listen as often as possible

It was really ugly last week. It was not supposed to be a recorded show. I was set up in Tacoma (actually Gig Harbor), Washington. Had the remote gear cranked up for the show.

I connect to a studio in Ohio which I hire to produce the shows. That's where the calls go for the show.

15 minutes before air time we discover that all the phone lines at the studio are dead. I mean, toast.

I can't call in with the remote gear, and we could not get any guests or callers on the show.

Total FUBAR.

Well, we always have a previous show on CD, ready go go.

I hated to run the recorded show, but at least it kept something on the air.

The www.guntalk.com web site is in the process of being moved and reworked. I'm guessing it will take another couple of weeks to get it going.

I'm in Springfield, MO, tonight. I think we are on day 15 of a 19-day trip away from home. Oregon (Thunder Ranch), Washington, Utah (Browning), Jackson Hole- Wyoming, and today to Springfield.

Live on Gun Talk this Sunday!!!!

Hillbilly wrote - Nothing personal, Tom, but I'm just not willing to shell out $100 a year for the satellite radio subscription, plus the additional cost of satellite radio recieving equipment just for Gun Talk.

I live in Taiwan. I download, keep and listen to EVERY Guntalk show and have for years. I also have a Sirius account that I can only listen to a couple times a year and I got Sirius ONLY because at that time they were the only one that carried Guntalk and NRAnews. I believe that it's a bargain.

You'll be glad to hear that we (finally) have the archive back up. Now, you can not only download, but you can subscribe for automatic podcasting downloads, if that's what you want.
