THe M 9 or the 92 FS ? I see both are same but some would say get the one made in Italy bec its better built. SO which is which , thx

Both are basically the same gun. M9 has the bar-dot white sights, whereas the 92FS has the 3 dot sights. I think the M9 has a metal guide rod, the 92FS has plastic. The M9 has a straight dust cover, the newer 92FS are curved. The M9 has the rail, unless you get the Vertec, the 92FS does not. The M9 doesn't have that silly WARNING on the slide either.

Makes no real difference which one you get, the M9 and the 92 are really the same gun except the 92 has a plastic guide rod and trigger. The M9A1, which is the new one, has a 1913 rail, different checkering on the front strap, a dual buffer recoil spring like the 90-two, other than that same as the M9. All the law enforcement package 92's are standard 92's with the plastic guide rod and trigger, they don't break or anything so I wouldn't worry about that. Just get whichever one you want, if you don't want to warning labels and you have to have one that says "M9" then I guess you know which one to get. My personal preference would be for either a new 90-two, which replaced the vertec in the product line or the M9A1, just a little bit nicer gun as far as features.
Oh yeah, I have a standard 92FS at home and it does great, my agency uses 92Vertecs, so I have shot a few different types of berettas over the years.

Get the one you can find with the cheapest price. In my case, for all the foregoing subjective reasons, I was leaning toward getting the M9 version: that is, until I learned that our local sporting goods store was selling the 92FS (nib) for $429.99, and the price included three magazines. As a bonus, I prefer the 3-dot rear sight over the M9's "bar-dots".

I really like the 92 Centurion. Full size frame with a shorter slide.

Here's mine.

M9 and Beretta 92FS is exactly the same - except for the rear site (3 dot vs dot and post). And, now that new 92s have the straight dust cover, there is no other difference :)

Here is my current carry gun
