Earlier this week, the State Assembly in Wisconsin voted to uphold the governor's veto of concealed carry legislation passed earlier. The State Senate had voted to overturn the governor's veto.

The State Assembly, in effect, sent a message to the people of Wisconsin, that message being that in the view of the assembly, the people of Wisconsin were irresponsible and or untrustworthy, possibly to immature to be allowed to carry defensive arms.

With view to the upcoming primary elections and the festivities scheduled for November, the people of Wisconsin will be positioned to send messages of their own, possibly turning the governor out of office, but most certainly enjoying the possibility of turning some legislators out of office, in particular those who voted to uphold the governor's veto.

Only time will tell us what the people of Wisconsin will do about the message their state assembly sent them, however they will have, as mentioned above, the opportunity to send a message of their own. Will they utilize that opportunity, who knows. It certainly will be there, for them to avail themselves of, which is about all one can reasonably expect. How they vote will tell a great deal about the values that they hold dear, or perhaps don't. It will be up to them.
