Thoses are great too. I already have a 4" 586 and wanted something smaller...

Mine is 1957 vintage with the smaller grips. I've had it for around 10 years now and it's been a great revolver. Nice pick up on your part, it looks like a gem! Happy shooting!
So, I got the cylinder this morning. The finish is pretty worn out, contrary to the frame.
I guess this revolver was carried a lot. It came with a well worn holster as well.
Mechanically there are no issues I could find, which is mainly what I care about.
I can see a reblueing in its future, maybe, but that will have to wait...
It is foremost a shooter, not a collectible, given the wear.
