Colt Detective Special SN

I recently purchased a Colt .38 Special Detective Special and can't find a serial number date match. I tried www.proofhouse.com, but they stoped listing serial numbers at 1978. My number begins with S333_ _. What year was it produced. I think it's nickle plated and I think it's 3rd issue.

Call Colt customer service at 800-962-2658. They will tell you the year of manufacture, but nothing else.

S333_ _ was made in 1980
The numbers that year ran from S27029 to S62977.
