I picked up this no-dash Model 36 a couple of weeks ago. The serial number dates it to 1966-67. It had Pachmayr rubber grips on it when I got it, so I put some old round butt grips on it that I had laying around and a Tyler T-grip. The grips should actually be diamond grips. The grips that I put on it date from around 1968-69 according to the serial number, which is right after they got away from the diamond grips.

I paid $375 for it, which I didn't think was too bad. It looks like it hasn't been shot or handled much at all.

Nice find!

It's always good to get them off the streets and give them a good home.
