I saw that No Neck Joe thing so long ago, haven't gotten around to ordering some of the DVD's of it... funny and gross stuff.

It does look like it was fired in the wrong chamber, surprised it didn't split.

Probably didn't split because the bullet diameter is real close to .40 anyway.

Would have loved to see the look on the shooter's face though when they tried to find the holes in the target.:neener:

The Ackley improved 357 Sig???

"Shoulders?... We don't need no stinkin shoulders!!!"

;)

Hey look, a new wildcat cartridge. They took a 357 Sig and blew out straight. Who would have thought of that. I’ll bet that will catch on quick, maybe law enforcement will love the cartridge. :D

GitSome45,
Could it maybe be the 40S&W?

GlocksRock,
It's the first one. I also found 2 40S&W pieces of brass in there also, and still ended up with more than I paid for. :D

Kcustom45,

The casing is too long for .40 S&W, in order to "neck down" the .357 SIG cartridge to the same length as the .40 S&W, it uses a casing close to the 10mm. ( the extra material being used up in the "necking down" of the cartridge from .40 to .357) :scrutiny:

JMHO,

Howard

The .357 Sig is based upon the .40 S&W case necked down to a
This was the information that I was going by and I always assumed it meant that the .357 SIG was a necked down 40S&W, but I could be wrong. It does makes sense that there would have to be more 'material' to work with to get it the same as a 40.

The blown .357sig was about .01" longer, but far shorter than a 10mm case.

Cheers,
Ben
