One Powder

For me it would either be Unique or Universal Clays for their versatility. If I were more narrow-minded I would take 2400 because I love shooting my .357 Magnums with it- you can load from mild to wild with 2400 in said caliber.

I mostly load pistol cartridges, but I'm gonna say IMR 4895 because when I do load rifle, it takes so much powder. An unlimited supply of free rifle powder would really get the price down. (and I probably already have a lifetime stash of pistol powder)

If someone was going to give me a bunch of powder and said it had to be pistol powder because that's what I use, I think I'd choose Vhitavouri N330.

I was going to pick W231 until I realized I have 10 lbs of the stuff which is for all intents and purposes is a life time supply so I would probably go with H4895. I was tempted to go with H4350 because most of my bolt action .30-06 ammo is loaded with that but for the M1 Garand I need 4895 and a lot of it!

Shucks that's easy. Trail Boss! ANY cartridge can be loaded with it! Besides, I get .75" to 1" at 100 with it in my .45-70! Yup, Trail Boss for me....

I’d go w/ HP38 as opposed to Unique. Unique has many loads, but does not meter well from volume dispensers such as the auto-disk.

If your wife asks "why some many powders?" Answer back w/ “Why do you have so many shoes?”. [ Just get your blanket and pillow and head for the couch. ]

There is still a whole bunch of powders I've never tried (so I don't know what I may be missing). But if I had to pick one powder I've already used and like it would Reloder 22.

It's gonna be H4895, IMR4064, or reloader 15....all of those seem to work really good with alot of my guns. Nod prob goes to 4895

Since this is not a "the only powder you can ever get" scenerio, I'd go with IMR-4350. I'm not sure if I could make it work in the 30-30, 30-40 or 303 but it sure dones a fine job in the other 5 rifle calibers I load.

If I could have a free supply of one powder of my choice, it would be Varget. I use a lot of it AND it's been pricey lately. It works great in .223, .30-06, probably .30-30 (haven't tried it there yet), .45-70 and .308.

Oh, and after I win the "free powder for life" I want to win the "free bullets for life" and get a supply of Nosler .224" match bullets!
