600 nitro? If that is what I think it is it is big enough to kill it and gut it at the same time. I voted for the .308 because it is my good ole no. 1. In this Mississippi hill country the longest shot that I am going to make at maximum is going to be 150 yards give or take a few. Most of my shots on average I say would probably be about 15-20 yards. But I am going to take it so far as to say that I will stick with the 180 gr. bullets. I shot a buck last year with the 150 gr. about 20 yards through the lungs and no kidding I bet he ran 1/2 mile. I ain't never had a deer give me his opinion of a 180 gr. I also own a 3006 and know it is a good gun for deer but I don't use it much because at 20 yards a 3006 is going to go through it so fast it won't put the shock in a deer that the .308 will. I am going to end by saying 243 no, 270 maybe, 3030 probably, 308 definately. 600 nitro? I am still laughing man. I heard a good Ford truck works to.
I love this quote and I am proud the fellow up there mentioned it. I think Con Air is the best movie to come out of the 20th century and maybe the 21st.
