Online Purchasing, legal issues (?)

I am new to handguns and with the laws dealing with acquiring them. I was curious what legal issues (if any) exist that may affect my purchasing a handgun from online stores such as topgunsupply.com

Any input highly appreciated

PS: I am in Iowa (US), if that is an issue at all.

There are no legal issues as long as you can legally purchase/possess a handgun. The transfer still has to be made thru a local FFL who takes care of the guvment paperwork and background check. Same as if it was in a retail store.
