Im looking for some links to online shops that have a good aray of parts to build my stripped lower. What do you guys use?

i'm not a huge dpms fan, but their lower kit and parts kits are decent and reasonably priced

Get a RRA LPK with the 2-stage and be done with it. It costs more, but is cheaper than buying an LPK then upgrading later.

Try Bravo Co. They ship fast and have good stuff. Better yet, go to AR15.com. There you will see a huge number of advertisers listed all around. If you need even more, check out the industry page where they are all listed alphabetically.

Also, look at the Equipment Exchange over there. These companies also sell at a reduced price in there. There are also some smaller guys who specialize in certain things, like iron sights only or FF tubes only or LPK's and boltcarriers.....and have dirt cheap prices.

Abbreviaton listing?

I am about to embark on a custom build of an AR clone and am first in the process of getting info. I have been reading the posts i am finding here and in the AR15.com forum as a starting point. Is there a abbreviation and acronym list available specifically for AR's? Example-- "RRA" = Rock River Arms, "Mod1" = Model 1 Sales, etc....

Sorry meant to be a new post.

M&A has a great selection, Model 1 is good... a number of shops seem to be out of DPMS lowers at the moment (Midway for one)...there are 2 vendors on Gunbroker that have them in stock with Buy It Nows of considerably less than the typical $60 price.

I bought one from a fellow with the ID AR-15 Deals - good transaction, immediate shipping....he also offers a lot of other stuff at good prices.
Jacks-Black-Rifle-Shop also has them - haven't dealt with him personally but he has good feedback.

they're probably more for accessories than parts, but CDNN is a great operation. also, last year i got a rockriver full lower from some company in texas when everyone else was out of stock AND they were still cheaper. i think they were called lonestar-something or other.

Del-Ton has one of the cheapest parts kits. I was happy with the LPK, but received 2 out of 3 bad buffer tubes...
