The .22 has always been a major part of my collection. Most of mine came to me from family so they remaine close to my heart.

It has always been fun to shoot at a little more than "normal" distance for .22s. That helps me when I get the chance to shoot the big boys! :D

When I go to shoot, there are generally several youngsters with me. The best , cheapest training tool is the .22. They get tired of pellet guns after a bit, but the "real guns" keep 'em grinnin' !

Mark.

My favorite weapon is my Les Baer Concept II. But the only gun that goes with me every single trip to the range is my Ruger 22/45.

Well, after all this talk about .22s, I ended up ordering a Savage 64 rifle off the Internet. I fired my nephew's before and it seems like a pretty decent rifle for the money. Now I have to pick up another 500rds. of ammo.:D

Good thread. I haven't taken the .22 out to the range for some time, but I remember doing it a lot back when $$ was scarce. You can shoot all day for next to nothin'

picked up a brand new 10/22 on saturday... gonna be putting at least 1000 rounds through it this weekend
