You could empty all 3000 rounds in 40 seconds. Thats impressive. I can't see how anyone could justify $2500 on something that shoots plastic BBs though. It doesnt even look like a real gun :confused:

Some folks don't have to justify $2500 on a toy. Some folks have the bucks to buy silly things. I can't justify a $100,000 Ferrari, but somebody buys them. I can't justify a $2500 airsoft either. Heck, I can't justify a new pistol right now. If they can sell these things, more power to them.

Yeah but a ferrari will still get you to the grocery store and a pistol could save your life. This thing will never do anything more than shooting platic BBs. Now if it had a can opener or something attached that would be something.

Yeah but a old Chevy will get you to the grocery store and carry a LOT more groceries, just won't do it as fast. A regular airsoft will shoot plastic BB's, just not as many and not as fast. Hell, why buy a regular airsoft gun? All it does is shoot plastic BB's. What's the difference? Can you tell me you've never bought anything that wasn't practical, regardless of the price? How boring.

If you can afford it and you want it, what's the problem. I can't and I don't, but I don't have a problem with those who do.

I'm with you and others on this one...
$2500, will buy an number of real guns that shoot shoot real bullets. Patience, carry cash, and no paperdrill to boot! Heck toss a reloader in the mix...like a Mec single stage for shotshells.

I have one firearm that does not shoot real bullets. I never had a BB gun as a kid, I had a real gun as a kid. :p About 12 yrs ago (age 36) bought me a Daisy Red Ryder for $16. The same day a fella found out he was going to be a daddy, I went home with a K frame, he went home with $140. Started out with 2 C notes that day, came home with two toys and change left over. :)

OK so " I are an old fart at heart". At least my toys were blue and wood. :p

If you are getting quoted $350 for an MP5SD, you are getting ripped off. Try the Hong kong retailers ( www.redwolfairsoft.com , or www.airsoftshop.com ). I bought my M16VN with a spare VN-style hicap magazine from airsoftshop and it only totalled $300 with shipping. Not only is the VN more expensive, but prices have gone down since I bought my gun. Now if only I could justify one of those P90s...

As for why someone would pay $2500 for one of these, its just cool. Look at this sucker right here: http://www.monstersinmotion.com/weapons/pulserifle.html $3000 for a working replica of the M41A from Aliens. Now if only they would do the same for the smartgun and Shoei's MG-42...


What, I can dream, can't I? Right? :p
