Since I have nobody out here who would pose for firearm photos, (except the once or twice my wife gave in.), I decided today to experiment with the ol'cut and paste with the new Nikon camera. I posted one earlier in the thread, Ever Wonder What the Bayonet is For?, and then decided to go for broke, one showing a laser in action, including bad guy.
Three separate pictures cut and pasted into one, first time I tried it...and man did it look good! Until I looked closer.....

Oops. And no, not for the fat gut. :)

Bingo! Looks like I REALLY need that Crimson Trace adjustment allen wrench. :D I just felt an oops like that should be shared. :)

Oh, no Photoshop, that costs money - I use Microsoft's Picture It! Express, free from WalMart, and Windows Paint for editing.

Other than that ,not bad,you can even see the shadow of the bad guy on the door
Yeah, these pictures can work out eerily realistic when you have a tripod and all the pix are taken from the same place in the same lighting.

I would certainly hope so, given that it is a picture of him standing at the door... you would have to be a real ninja to even get rid of your own shadow :neener:

Exactly right, Nalioth, kept the same single bulb on and tripod unmoving. The laser dot was created by hanging the shirt with tape on the door, and zapping it with the laser held as still as possible from the same distance, then cut/paste/add.

I am no ninja! No fat old guy ninja skools around here!

Captions?

I'm better than the people on Wanted - I can curve the LASER!

What happened to don't point at what your not intending to kill it. Staging stuff like this is why there are so many accidental shootings all the time. That is why they make training props. Again I'm sorry if I offended anybody.

In this state, under our laws, this, IF IT WERE REAL, would be a lawful shooting situation. Perhaps you didn't read the entire thing, stating no firearm was pointed at any person, that is me in BOTH places? Trust me, I am not about to point a firearm at myself...ugly and fat yes, stupid, I like to think not.

But lets say some kid links your pic to some other post on another site without the information that you wrote. That's a Prob

It is trick photography. The OP took 3 different pictures of himself and superimposed them in to 'one picture'.

Nobody had a gun pointed at them during the making of that picture.

Three different pictures?

So the point was just to have fun with photoshop?

While I might not do this personally, I don't see how it could "cause" violence any more than a movie or the media.

NvTwist, would you say the same thing to Olegs famous pic of the "dead" intruder at the womans' feet while she holds a shotgun? Oh, and the word is spelled problem.
Now if someone spontaneously shoots themself after seeing me, well, that's might be a justifiable reaction to ugly! :)

Right, because it's the only picture of someone pointing a gun at someone on the internet.

What exactly is the problem if someone does link that picture without the information? I'm dying to know that ramifications of such a thing.

I don't consider myself responsible for the stupidity of others. I lose no sleep when someone does something stupid and kills themselves in the process. They and they alone are responsible for what they did. Society seems far too willing to give criminals and idiots to much forgiveness when it comes to their acts.

Why's the door closed? You must have very polite home invaders in Arizona :) Bet he would have wiped his feet if you left the mat out.

Fun pic, though, nice work.

Problem, oh thats how it is spelled, Thank you.
It's a good PhotoShop job, and I'm aware of the time a project like it takes.

Like I said, My intentions was not to offend. I apologize. :(
I have not seen oleg's work but I will check it out.
