Hey,

Tryed out something different today.

Some might find this as a total plasphemy, but I saw a picture of a similar rig on the net and wanted to try if it works. Figured it might be usefull if shooting varmints under the barn where you cant see well where you aim. And maybe get my sights sighted in.

Searched ebay ordered the smallest mount what i could find. Little dremel and voila. Havent field tested it yet.

Well tra27 you did ask for opinions and as my mother use to say, "if you don't have anything good to say then say nothing at all." So I'm not saying anything.

True that. Also would look good with tactical flashlight on the side.

I've read that mounting stuff on the barrel could affect the barrel harmonics which could increase or decrease accuracy?

OK so a flashlight or a LASER or both...then you fire your first round, now you have a cloud of smoke, and stuff on the end of the muzzle that doesn't work except to show you the cloud of smoke....

I wouldn't do it but it is yours so you can do what you want. I does sound very practical for your intended use.

I would load that Remy with No. 9 shot if the range is short.

Do I understand correctly that you intend to touch off your smoky/flamey/sparky '58 UNDER THE FLOOR OF YOUR BARN?

Hey. Its your revolver. Do with it as you will. If it accomplishes a task you have in mind for it, who am I to say anything?

It does say something about your smithing skills.

Well I have been thinking about single six for that job. There is only rocks, moss and dirt under it, but i get your point. It's not a barn filled with dryer than dry piles of hay. [emoji16] But the point is that rifle isnt the best option to shoot under a building whether is a barn or shack or something else.

Didn't see the 203-style grenade launcher attachment (must be my old tired eyes - everyone knows a '58 needs one, that and a military-grade flash supressor)! And what's up with a dragoon without a proper bayonet lug (fer shame)?
