After a ten year hiatus I'm getting back into hunting. I am looking for a pair of boots that are warm and waterproof. Some of our deer stands are in a swampy area so I need something dependable. I've heard Muck boots are pretty good. How many of y'all hunters use them. Thanks for your help.

Great boots!

Warm, comfortable and last forever

the only downsides is they are sweaty in summer and not worth a damn fir climbing once they get a little wear on em..........I should add that I'm still on my first 5yr old pair.

I will buy more when or IF these wear out

My cousin has a pair and he likes them. They stood up well for him on an 8 day elk hunt recently.

take your hunting sox with you and get a good fit. My bro bought a skosh small and lost big toenails... They seem to be quality goods for the wettest of conditions.

there great if your not in any thorns or anything that will tear them. I put a hole in mine the first time I wore them. I tried them out of curiosity from my normal lacrosse boots I will never buy another pair for my area there too soft and catch easy if I was just in water that would be great. However they are very comfortable and have a great tread pattern and I don't get hot as quick in them. I would recommend lacrosse burly boots there a classic.

i got the cabelas 1200 gram muck boots($129 version padded interior) i work tree trimming and im constantly in deep snow, small streams, etc. they work great. The one field and stream version sold at dicks look like they are made by the same company. cabelas has a $20 coupon right now or free shipping also.

Muck boots are great. I don't use mine for hunting because they are too hot for where I hunt, but I would if it was colder.

I bought the Hoser Classic™ Mid-height Muck Boots when they first came out in the U.S several years ago.

Still wearing them every day for walking the dog when it's wet and or cold.

Can't seem to wear them out!
And nothing is more comfortable.

I do have doubts how well they would hold up in stobs and cut brush and thorns though.

The tops remind me of a heavy duty neoprene wet suit, on mine at least.

PS: For deeper water, snow, and heavy brush & thorns, I get out the Lacrosse Burley insulated knee-highs!
These are very comforatble all-day boots too, and will handle anything you can dish out for a very long time!
Best if you can try them in person for fit, as they have an ankle hugging design to prevent slippage on the heel, and are maybe sized a little tighter then normal boots.

Thanks for all y'alls input. I bought a pair of Muck, Woody Max boots before Christmas. They kept my feet warm and dry while deer hunting this past week. I'd recommend them to any one who wants a good warm, waterproof boot.
