I was looking at a used Kimber Pro Aegis II and really liked it. Just looking for opinions as to quality and price of a used one. I don't have much experience with 1911's (or semi-autos for that matter), but have really been wanting a 9mm 1911 lately.
Opinions on Kimber Pro Aegis II?

I have the 5" Aegis and I consider it to be the finest pistol that I own. It is my daily carry piece.

About two years ago I sold mine for $700 but it was to fund a Clackamas. Today, the going price for used seems to be between 800 and 900. I loved mine and really wish I still had a pro size pistol for CC. They are fine 1911's and the best part, if you put an idiot scratch on it, you can get it out with some fine sandpaper. (Please do not do this until you read how to do it properly in the forums)

Kimber Aegis
I watch one of my buddies sell his to a mutual friend for $775.00.
He shot it , decided to sell it and got $900.00 at the next gun show we all went to.
Patience and luck sometimes effect prices.
By the way it was just like new and the first guy paid about $1100.00 new if I remember right.
