I've kind of been thinking about taking a 223 Saiga and a 6X russian side mount scope (POSP) and refinishing with DuraCoat or other paint to a shade of tan for a carrying coyote rifle. Do you think this combo could be accurate enough to get er done? I have had some mixed results with my other side mount set-ups which is why I ask. Anyone tried something similar to this?

Well this thread is a few weeks old but I assume you are still here so I'll go ahead and give it my opinion:D

Yes, that sounds like a great combo. The .223 combined with the POSP 6x should be pretty sweet.

I'm looking at get a 4x or 6x POSP for my saiga x39 right now.
