I'm in the Military, Active Duty. At the BX they have a gun section and the guy working showed me a package deal that he's holding for someone that he can order at any time, A Taurus 1911 with a rail system comes with a laser/flashlight combo with a coiled wire remote, two 8 Rd. magazines, a hard plastic holster that you have to press the button on the side to release the weapon that also has different degrees of rotation so you can have your pistol at whatever angle you want. Also comes with a holster for two magazines in the same fashion as the pistol and to top it off both a hard case and soft case. All for $658.50. A couple people I've told (at work) seem to say that it a pretty standard price for this setup. What do you guys think?

Pricing aside, I would strongly recommend reading up on Taurus 1911's before plunking down cash on one. Their quality seems to be hit or miss and support is reputed to be less than stellar. I have had the opportunity to handle a few examples and they were pretty rough on the inside.
