Optics for 300 Whisper AR Build

Starting to look for optics for a 300 blackout build I am doing. I want something like a ACOG or EOTECH but open to suggestions. Also which model you would recommend.. $1000 Budget for optics but if I can spend less on a quality optic then thats what I prefer to do....

I'd suggest thinking through what you want the rifle to do, and then choose the optic accordingly. I had an Eotech 516 on mine for a long time (great optic, very fast, a little on the delicate side but the manufacturer stands behind it). I've since switched to a 2-6x24 variable scope when I realized that I wanted a little more precision in the 100-400 yard zone, and my rifle has a fairly heavy Wilson barrel so it's accurate enough to make use of it.
