ok, I have seen these for decades (some of them), but I never really paid much attention to them. i don't really know what (if any) differences there are between red dots, holographic sights, and reflex sights. and i certainly do not understand the rating that they are using. in a rifle scope, moa means minute of angle. but there is no way anyone would actually spend money on a 65 moa holographic sight, which if i went by rifle scope terminology, i could just point the gun in the general direction and be that good! lol. help bring an olddd dog into the 21st century please!

All types for various purposes. Most come standard with a 3 MOA or 6 MOA dot for finer or faster work.

thanks! so Aim point, blowing its own horn, would have us all thinking that every other product is drastically inferior, and their sights are the only ones that are worth dragging home. so it appears that they have a very good marketing department. so is it true that they are the only company that has a dot that stays on target as long as the dot is still visible?

Well AimPoint is by most all accounts the most rugged red dot ever produced and with excellent battery life. Red dots however are parallax free with the exception of holographic versions.

Aimpoint, while not cheap and certainly they do have a good marketing department, are some of the top performing red dots on the market. They've been doing it longer than almost anybody else on the market too.

I'm searching for a good deal on a Patrol Rifle Optic (PRO) of their's to build a lightweight KISS carbine to beat about.
