I was just curious if there was something more "optimal" than 123 grain Wolfs for the 1/16" twist on a .311" bore. I know, for example, that with a .224" bore not even a 55 grain would stabilize well in a 1/16" twist. Didn't know how much of a difference there would be with such a large bore difference. I figured that my poor groupings are a function of both my skill level and the inherent inaccuracy of the AKM. Just making sure.
I wanted to get the most velocity and accuracy possible with up to 150grn bullets from a 26" bull bbl. Something I noticed is that benchresters don't run any faster twist than is necessary for the bullet weight they plan on shooting.
