'Police Say Medical Examiner Tried to Break Up Fight'

The Coos County ME after arming himself apparently attempted to break up a fight occuring on his property between four individuals unknown to him. Looks like the participants originally had a confrontation off of his property and in attempting to break up the fight the ME's gun discharged and struck one of the combatants in the chest. According to the story it was not clear whether the ME meant to fire.
He was arrainged and released on his own recognizance.
