I finally ordered a reloading press. Phoned Brian Enos and he convinced me the Dillon 550 was what I needed. Thanks to his EZ-buy list I was able to order all the necessary bits and pieces... :)

Now the waiting begins.
 
Dillon great choice

Great choice....I am active with local IDPA and IPSC......Most pistol guys use a Dillon of some sort. I have a 9mm setup on a Square Deal which is adequate for me. Each product has a list of pro's & cons......the con is that it doesn't use tradition die sets and is alittle slow to set up & change calibers. The 550 is the best of both and most used by the guys that know what they are doing. If I was younger that is the way I would go.:):):)afish4570
 
Way to go with the RL-550B great reloading machine, I out grew mine and moved to the XL-650 the powder check die in station 3 on the tool head and the auto-indexing is what sold me.

Congratulations, you're gonna' love it. I think you'll find dealing with Brian is sort of like having a second source for technical support. He really knows his stuff.
 
The 550 is a good press.

You'll love it. Not sure if they still have the NO BS Warranty, but they sure do stand by their products. I've had mine since at least 1993..called them a year or so ago and found out there had been some changes to the powder funnel...they sent me the new parts to upgrade mine...no charge! Gotta love that!
I'd buy another in a heartbeat if something catastrophic happened to it.
 
Yep, they still honor the no B.S. warranty. They have the BEST customer service ever. I don't own a Dillion, but will ASAP.

Now those Dillon catalogs will start showing up in your mailbox and you'll be spending all your time ogling young women when you're supposed to be reloading!
