I'm looking for cleaning kit for my R700 VTR in 308 and I came across the Otis cleaning system on Amazon. I read up some reviews on this product and a lot of people seem to recommend it so now I'm trying to see which one I should purchase since they have several different options available. At first I was planning on finding a cleaning rod and bore guide but it seems like the Otis system eliminates the need for either (correct me if I'm wrong). I like the idea that its compact and convenient for carry so I can bring it to the range and break in my rifle without having to bring a long cleaning rod.
Theres an Otis sniper cleaning system which is cheaper than the Otis 308 rifle cleaning system and it comes with an additional brush, and lens cleaners :

Anyone have any experience with any of these? I have a boresnake for my AR 223 so this kit will mainly be for my 308, but it would be great if I could use this Otis kit for cleaning any other guns/calibers I decide to purchase in the future. Suggestions on any other brands of cleaning kits are welcome as well. Thanks for your input!
