I just ran across a video about our constitutional republic produced by John McManus of the Birch Society. The video adeptly summarizes the nature of our government and the limited role it was designed to play in our lives. It also explains the importance of the limitations placed on the government by the Bill of Rights.

I found the simplicity and clarity of his presentation refreshing.

Your post, and these links are a great addition to the already existing AWB thread we have here. Perhaps this will convince some of our fellow members who don't think the 2nd Amendment is worth defending.
