Does anyone know a good outdoor shooting range in Connecticut? Preferably in Litchfield County.

The only commercial outdoor range open to the general public I know of in the state is Blue Trail in Durham. The state runs one in Glastonbury I believe, check the DEP website for details.

Check out Highrock Shooting association. They are in the valley off of RT 8. They have a website and are a nice little range. They are only open to the public on the weekends I believe.

Wooster Mountain is located in Danbury on Route 7, just below the Danbury mall. It's only 50 yards, but you can get zeroed.

Crazy crowded on the weekends. Get there first thing (opens at noon).

Glastonbury I hear is hard to get into. It's only open IF a volunteer range officer shows up on a Sat or Sun from 10 to 2. You have to call during the week to make an appointment for a 2 hour block. You can show up and see if anything is free but eh.
