A friend has gotten himself a Taurus M85 CH and is bound and determined to carry it on his belt instead of his pocket like I recomended. Problem is, he cant find a quality belt holster for it. Can some of the gurus here point me in the right direction or post some pics of belt holster for this gun?

Bianchi makes a pretty neat one for "hammerless" guns like the Taurus 85CH or the S&W 640. It is the Model 55L Lightnin'. They are a little expensive, but have very good quality. You might check with Don Hume in Miami, OK, too. They have excelant quality at a very, very reasonable price.

I don't have a pic of it, but you can check out the web link at Don Hume. The JIT slide is a nice belt hoster for the M85 and not very expensive. I have one for mine, and with a light jacket or flannel shirt worn outside the pants, it is very concealable.

Dillon sells a quality belt slide holster called their "Master" for a reasonable price. I use it for my 342 when I belt carry. By the way, pocket carry on a Taurus 85 would be a load for a pocket! I tend to agree with your friend on the belt carry option for that gun!
