I just got a Stoeger Cougar 8040 for Valentine's day, and so far I've been carrying it in a nylon BagmasteR OWB holster. I really didn't know that it would be so easy to conceal with it. I would like to know how many of you guys and girls use OWB holsters, and what brand. One more thing, do any of you wrap the belt around the outside of the holster to tuck it in closer. I find this method to be VERY comfortable, it's just that I would like a better holster. Please let me know what OWB holsters you guys are using. Thanks!!

Don Hume 721OT-I have one for my XD-40 & my Ruger P-944. It works for me with an untucked loose fitting shirt.

i carry owb concealed everyday. 1911 commander, pf9, or lcp. i make all my holsters. you can find pics of many holsters in other threads that members make. from what iv read most carry custom leather. far more comfortable than cookie cutter production but comes with a price.

For an off the shelf holster the Galco Concealable is a great design. My favorite though is the Alessi CQC/S.

Check out the FIST website. They have just about any style you can imagine and they have your gun on their list. I own a few of their holsters and they are very well made.

#1 on the Don Hume. Also look at Triple K. I have 1 DH and 2 KKK. They have a list for you to pick from, excellent holsters at affordable prices.

I just bought a Don Hume H721 O.T. Weapon Model (Fit Code) Walther P99 (99W), Barrel Length 6.6". The 6.6" length is to suit the Walther P99C.

I've been unsure how to thread it with respect to the belt and the trouser loops. There is surprisingly little advice on this on the net and for beginners such as myself it's not obvious how you do it.

I also bought a mag holder and am not sure where to position that on the belt.

First off, let me say that I wish that's what I had gotten for V-day. Secondly, When I started carrying I mainly used Blackhawk! CQC Serpa holsters, and they worked for me. I now use shoulder holsters because for me they are easier to conceal and much more comfortable.
