Are there any Neuhausen pistols that are double-action or are they all
singel-action?

I know if has a reputation for being very accurate, but I ask this question couse I came across a site for some Danish special forces and it said that they had the Neuhausen as their sidearm.

I just thought it is a little bit strange to have a single-action as a sidearm considering the stress one might be under as in situation of potential use.

Anyone else know about some military forces using a single-action as a sidearm if it is indeed only that?

Well, there's the M1911, the High Power, the P-08 "Luger", the Radom VIS-35, the Tokarev...

(IOW, yes, there have been single action service sidearms aplenty. ;) )

ops I must have gotten confused about the single/double-action here ??

there should be a "beginners gun-term dictionary" on this forum :p

Yes the 210 is a single-action pistol. I don't think you are mixing up single-action and double-action, but you are off regarding your apparent surprise that military units would use a single-action pistol. As Tamara pointed out, probably the greatest military service handguns in history have been single-action, starting from the Colt SAA.

No it is just that in a moment of dispair I confused the single-action mechanism between the one of the revolver and pistol.

As on coking the hammer for each shot :D

Not as in just having to pull the slide for the first round on a pistol. :neener:

Man i like the look on those Neuhausen pistols, they look so "compact" kind of :)
