I'm about to order some stuff from Wolff, and figure I might as well do some preventative maintenance and replace the stock recoil spring in my P226/.40 (it has about 2000 rounds on it). On the website, there are "conventional recoil springs", and "variable recoil springs". What is the difference, which do I want, and why?
