Anybody know how these two compare in terms of grip thickness and "height"? When I say "height" I mean the measurement from the bottom of the mag to the top of the slide. If anybody has pictures of a side by side comparison that would be awesome as well.

I'm trying to decide between these two for a new CCW piece and it has really come down to these two measurements for my decision. I naturally am leaning toward a P239 with the SRT trigger since I already have a P229R, but I have read a lot of good about the M&P platform so I'm considering it.

My P229R currently has the DAK trigger, but I hate it and am considering getting the SRT dropped into it. If I decide to get the P239 with SRT, then I'll probably put the SRT into the P229R and keep it. If I decide to get the M&Pc then I'll probably try to sell my P229R and get a M&P9. Clear as mud? Basically I've decided that I want my CCW and my "house gun" to be the same in terms of trigger pull and controls.

I have both, but no side by side photos. You won’t go wrong with either, but I personally tend to CC the S&W M&P 9C more often than the P239. It’s a little lighter, shorter in height and offers more capacity.
