I mentioned in another thread that last week I picked up a lightly used (100 rounds) Kel-Tec P3AT. Thursday night PCRCCW and I put a few rounds of Speer Gold Dot through it. The recoil is not nearly as bad as I had expected. In fact we shot some Rangers through a P-01 the same night and the recoil on those was more that this little pocket .380.
The Accuracy impressed me. At 10 yards PCRCCW kept them all in the black. Nice little two inch group. I had a bigger group, but I will get some good ones next time out.
Last night I picked up a nice horse hide pocket holster from HBE. He kept the rough side out so that it stays in place in my pocket better. When I put this thing in my pocket, I hardly know it is there. You would really have to be looking for a gun hard to know what is in my pocket. If you put your keys in front of it, there is no way anyone will ever know. The retention is perfect, I can draw the P3AT out of my pocket and the holster stays put.
I polished the feed ramp and while I was at it, I also polished the part of the barrel that shows through the slide.
The P3AT is a great little back up gun that will also do fine as a primary carry when needed.
