Can someone post some pictures of the taurus mill pro 9mm compared to the kahr P9. Had a kahr but it just never became reliable so I thinking taurus. I am interested in these due to width which is why I am not looking at XD, Glock, or Smith.

p9/mill pro

Since comparision pictures might not quite as easy to find how about members that might have had both to give opinions

Don't have any pictures, but can say this.

Do own a PT111 Mil/pro. Like the gun very much and get sterling service form it. This pistol eats WWB,Silver Bear,Brown Bear,Remington,UMC,and Speer ammo. Mostly 115 gr. ball or JHPs, with a sprinkling of 145gr. or 147 gr.JHPs thrown in. Likes the 124 gr. stuff, but finding cheap 124 gr. practice ammo is tough. Could be just not looking hard enough.:) Standard pressure rounds work well. +P loads will work, but there is little gain to using +P in the 3" barrel.

Having gotten that out of the way, there are Kahr and Taurus owners at the www.taurusarmed.net forum. Things seem to boil down to what fits the person more than what dimensions are for CCW carry.

Since both are compact pistols it's a pick by the consumer more than anything else. Some like the Kahr's trigger and feel over the Taurus and others are vice versa.

Handling the both brands definetely will settle that affair.:D

Holsters should be easy to find for both. Both are very serviceable guns.

Having short stubby fingers and small hands made me choose the Taurus over the Kahr. The way the Kahr fit my hand just didn't work well. Got to shot an aquaintences Kahr MK9. Had trouble with the way recoil management and was uncomfortable with it. This is just an example.

The Kahr may fit you better than the Taurus.Hard to say.
I figure Kahr and Taurus owners must know something. They picked good pistols.:D

Since the 24/7 is a Pro model and comes in a compact version, these can be considered as well as the PT111.Both are cousins.
