Anybody know which aftermarket sights have the longest sight radius when installed on a P95? The factory sights are pointy (catch on holster when drawing from certain positions) and pointing straight up. Interested in Williams Firesights, or maybe Meprolights or whatever gives me the longest radius per dollar.

Any ideas? Any pictures of sights mounted?

The Meprolights might increase the sight radius maybe 1/4" but not enough to make a difference. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Meprolight-...=290546627740&ps=63&clkid=4611786708055014459

No sights are going to give you a longer sight radius than the factory sights at least not enough to make any difference. The only way to increase sight radius is to get a longer pistol. Its the trade off between long and short barrels.

As stated, sight radius is mostly a function of barrel length. Except for some very minor variations, you're not going to be adjusting sight radius with replacement sights - that's a choice you make when you chose the pistol.

Um, you're not really going to increase sight radius with a set of new sights on a pistol or any handgun for that matter. You'll need a longer barrel and slide... That's why you got the LS versions of Glock, Taurus, and a few others.

Not true. The issue is finding a rear sight that sits back like this one:

Back of the slide, just short of the hammer would be about 9/16" increase (just over 10%), and a flatter sight profile (think no pointy hump). I could care less about glowing anything, as that's something I can handle on my own.

The reality is that having shot a couple of firearms with a 5.5" sight radius, I want that extra 1/2 inch, and I can tell a difference. What I don't want to do is end up at my work bench making my own rear sight with files for an entire weekend or more. But I will if it comes to that, because I want what I want:)

Ok - let me caveat my statement by adding - "significantly" as in significantly increase your sight radius. I would still just go the long slide route.

I have a set of similar sights on one of my Sigmas as those from LPA (I forget the mfr's name) and they add about 1/4" to the sight radius. I got it for the adjustability not the increase in sight radius, though. I don't think 1/4" does anything for my accuracy.
