PA Gun law question

I know that you need to be 21 to buy a handgun in PA, but is it legal for someone who is 18 to transport it (unloaded) and shoot at a range?

Yes.

You can also "own" a handgun at 18yoa, but it must be gifted to you by a parent or grandparent.

However, you must be 21yoa in order to get a license to carry.

But.....you can open carry at 18yoa (without a LTC).
