Paging Ala Dan: S&W 3913/39-2 magazine question

I need to find some more magazines for my 39-2, and I've gotten the impression that some older-style 3913 magazines will work. I have one now that looks a lot like a 3913 magazine, but blued, and it fits 9 rounds and has a red follower. It works in the 39-2, even though it seems to poke out a wee bit at the bottom. Any ideas for a source? I got lucky and found an original magazine for -- get this -- the Model 39 no dash itself, and it works a treat, even though I feel like a heathen for using it.

The 3913 is shorter than the 39, therefore it's mags won't fit. I posted a WTB listing on S&W forums looking for 39 mags, as they aren't the easiest things to find anymore. IIRC, 39, 39-2, 439, and 639 mags are interchangeable.

One more question -- does Wolff still do springs for these, to your knowledge?
