Pair of XDS!

My grandfather has been looking for a Springfield xds for himself for quite a while. He lives a little over an hour away but I've been keeping an eye out for him. He happened to be in town this morning and I noticed my favorite lgs posted on facebook that they got some in this morning. I picked him up and we ran into town. He was able to pick up a pair of them!
Can't wait to pick them up. Maybe he'll let me shoot one!

I bought one of the first ones released at an event at one of the indoor ranges near me, and it was the black finish model. Shot a few hundred rounds thought it and liked it a lot. Had it at another indoor range and someone offered me $900 for it as they were sold out instantly...lol Took the money and ran.

Came across a new bi-tone model and love it even more with that finish. Hopefully he lets you shoot one of them, my wife likes it and isn't phased by the caliber in a small gun like she with a 44 Mag snubbie..lol

I wasn't originally interested in the xds. I really wanted an xdm comp., but I think I could be swayed pretty easily.

Either way, the next gun on my short list is a .308.
