My stepfather recently asked if I could get my hands on any old paper shotgun shells. I don't have any myself and dont have any idea how much they would cost. I believe these will only be used for display purposes which is why he would like to have some 'antique' ones (read as 'have been laying in bubba's barn for 50 years'). There is a large gunshow this weekend and I was wondering if anyone knew how much a handfull of them might go for? Anything more than a few bucks?

Thanks!

Older paper shells should be plentiful and inexpensive at gun shows.

Keep your eyes open and you should walk out with your handful and your wallet still intact.

What Gunsnrovers said --- Most of the collectability of old shotgun shells is with the boxes they came in. Loose rounds are typically inexpensive.
