I picked up a NIB Para GI Expert for $499.00 yesterday and since it was raining cats and dogs yesterday, I finally got to shoot it today. Took it to the range and put through ~250 rds of 230gr poly coated RN. Not one feeding issue HOWEVER, it is shooting 4" low and 0.9" left at 30ft. I initially thought it was me so I took some measurements and compared them to my Caspian commander with the same ammo which was ~1" low and 1.6" left. I think the left issue can be fixed with a combination of rear sight adjustment and grip adjustment, but the vertical issue bothers me a bit. Do you guys think this can be fixed with a new front sight or is there something fundamentally wrong with the pistol? I am debating whether or not to call Para and sent it back or just get different sight. Any ideas? I've include pix of the shot groups.
