Para ordnance p14 conversion

I want to build a 38 super for uspa/ipsc competition.

I own a para ordnance p14,

I will get new top end and use p18 mags.

Is this possible with out great structural change?

Money is not the issue for the project

You might need to change the ejector since they are different for 45 and 38 Super. The only other issue will be the series 80 firing pin safety plunger thingie. But that can be duplicated or dropped.

Otherwise, that should be it.

If money is no issue, buy a new pistol. You are already buying a new slide, barrel, any other small parts needed for the slide, extractor, etc on the frame, plus fitting by gunsmith, plus magazines. Sorry, it sounds like the long was around the barn...

Money is not the issue here it's just why splurge when you can make what you have work.

I will not be competitive any way, so why sink money into failure. Mainly I seek the personal satisfaction.
