Can anyone point me to an 18.5" Barrel for an H&R Pardner Pump? I have a Pardner Field gun, and would like a short barrel for a housegun. Can't find extra barrels anywhere online, and the recent-ish Google Shopping gun stuff ban isn't helping...

Also will any 870 stock and fore end go on my H&R?

Honestly, your best choice is calling H&R and ordering one.

And yes, all stocks that fit the Remington will fit the H&R. Some may need a bit of pursuading, but they'll fit.

Any idea what they charge for a short barrel? Didn't see any stuff for the pumps on the "barrel accessory program" page.

Your better off buying a new pardner protector. You can't just order a barrel, you have to send them your shotgun so they can fit it on. By the time you have done ask that you will have almost paid for a new gun.

I bought my 18.5 inch pardner pump just recently at Walmart for $179. Might as well just get the whole gun for that price.

Then I went on Walmart.com and got a Knoxx pistol grip stock for $50 with free shipping. Also THE CLAW sling for $20. I really like this shotgun. The Quality is nice especially for the price but you know that already since you have a pardner! I used to have a maverick 88 20 inch and I like the pardner more. Feels like a better built gun.

Fat Cat is right. The barrels have to be fitted by the factory. As cheap as they are, you might just as well buy another configured like you want. Or you could cut the barrel on the one you have.

Yes, the Pardners are very nice guns, unbelievable for the price. Mine has been 110% since last Black Friday- and after the sales and all my coupons, I only paid maybe $140 for it, at Dick's! :what: Very solid, a little heavy, but that just means better recoil management. :neener: I have maybe 500 rounds through mine, some clays, and a few backyard pests. And a lot of fun, pride, and peace of mind. Money well spent. :)

I was wanting to get 870/Hogue/whatever you guys suggest furniture because I don't like wood furniture and my Pardner's is nice and scratched, and, mainly, the rear stock on the H&R doesn't fit my hand very well at all. My Dad's Mossberg and the 11-87 I shoot at the gun club fit me much better.

I wanted a shorter barrel because, well, my "broom pole" or "thunderstick" (as my brother calls it) isn't the best at moving around in the house, though the one time I felt compelled to head upstairs armed it didn't prove too much a problem.

Interesting idea- I might just get a Pardner Protector, for the right price.
