Parole denied because he's a "threat to burglars"

Any Small Biz owners Packin'???

I'm curious to see if any of you are small business owners and if you're packing on a daily basis. I've tried to convince my father to do this as he often locks up by himself.

Dad does in his hardware store, though he doesn't pack during the day. He keeps his CCW in a drawer and puts it back on when he leaves.

He gets customers who call his home on the middle of a Sunday with, "Would you open up the store so I can get a couple nuts and bolts?" Dad, being the generous person he is, obliges.

The previous owner of that hardware store was murdered in the basement. It's said that it happened on a weekend when he opened up the store for a customer. The body was dragged out and dumped in the local junkyard.

I keep a 357 in the shop at all times and bring a
kel-tec P-11 with me when I open up in the morning.
I dont keep it on me if I am welding but other than that it
is right there.

My son in law owns two restaurants in the big city.

He packs all the time. Sometimes, when he deposits the day's receipts, I accompany him. Then I carry as well. More than one time in the last five years we both have been glad we were in a position to defend ourselves. Good shooting

Don't leave home without it!

I run one of the largest pawn shops in Va. I have more jewelry than any two jewelry stores along with an FFL and everything else from electronics to video games and of course money. Store is about 3k sq.ft. IALWAYS have my main weapon and BUG on at all times(24/7) along with several shotguns and handguns strategically placed throughout the building.

I carry (not the owner of our small business, though) and my immediate superior just got a new handgun yesterday, and has his application for a handgun carry permit in the system. So ... 2 of the 5 full-time employees carry, but the owner doesn't.
